Baseball Pop-Up Box

It's all about the ball NOT the game. The Base-Ball is a book visually detailing the history of the baseball, the variations of it throughout time and how its made. This is done through information graphics, photography and research. Using the graphic elements from the book I then created an information graphics video as an interpretation of the book.
Handmade set of two leather bound books showcasing the history of the National League and American League presidents and the baseballs used from the start of each league. Designed, printed and placed within a custom made pop-up box to house them. Crafted with genuine baseball hides, custom die embossings and gold foil lettering.

Handmade custom box crafted to fit a baseball. When the box is opened, the ball pops up revealing it in grand fashion. Made with every part of the ball: leather hide, yarn, string and rubber pill.
